Bitter Sweet Symphony

Sahuarita, AZ
Tomorrow we will leave our wonderful friends and family in Arizona to move to Cyprus.
We are so blessed to have been a part of this amazing community for more than six years.
Family and friends have been helping us prepare for this day for MONTHS.
My folks have been coming over every day after work (plus all day on their weekends) for weeks helping us pack, clean and repair the house. Izzy has been coming over every Friday after work and working her buns off the entire weekend.
Rick and Moira have been, among countless other things, taking m&m and keeping them entertained while we pack like maniacs, which allowed the cousins precious time together before we leave.
In addition to my incredible family (who helped us from sun-up until sundown the ENTIRE weekend) our wonderful friends came over and helped us load the 20' shipping container with our furnishings and over 300 boxes. Mr. Chris was the first to arrive and helped us carry our beast of a table into the container. Many friends came by bearing love notes, gifts and treats as well as a helping hand. One neighbor, Mr. Ken, came over Friday and stayed for the long haul (he helped us thru Monday!). We couldn't have done this without our family and friends.
There's still so much to be done, but my parents will pick up the (many!) pieces after we leave, cleaning up the mess we leave behind.
This is a bittersweet time for me. I am EXTREMELY EXCITED about the move and the many adventures we have ahead of us, but very sad to leave my wonderful family and amazing friends behind.
